Well here we are. I'm hoping I can remember what day it is.   Ahhhh yes, it is Wednesday, March 25, yes, 2020. How do I know this So far I remember that our anniversary, February 24th, was on a Monday. ( We celebrated over the weekend.)   mon tue wed thu fri sat sun   24      25  26    27   28  29 march 1st. March was a sunday.  add three days. Phew! So.....can I count back and make a picture of where I've been since not the day I was born I just the last time I can remember life being as it was before the virus. (Let's be brave and call it what it is.) Today, I woke up after sleeping through the night! I will walk for a half hour today. The sun is not shining today. I walked yesterday, and although it was 41 degrees, it felt cold. Last night, Dale put together a greeat stream of utube rock videos.   Last night, we ordered pickup Laotian food..........mango with pork and pinea...

the fence by the daisies needs paint. the roses are fading. the asters are growing. the sky isn't blue.

Pillar Posts As I passed among them, some rocked, tall and thick as hundreds year old trees. I pressed my back against the wall and watched as they fell down onto the empty highway far below. Nothing shattered, nothing cracked. They lay flat; flaccid stone gray cylinders. I crept against the wall, moved down by inches to what I hoped would be an exit to a village. Ancient Greeks,perhaps, living a good life. I wanted to see. Would these be my people?
